The Enchanted Flame
March 2025 Edition

✨ Welcome, Kindred Souls
Whether you’ve just found your way to us or you’ve been with us since the first flicker — welcome, and welcome back. March is a month of quiet awakenings. The earth begins to stir beneath our feet, and in the soft shift between winter’s hush and spring’s song, we find ourselves inspired to dream again.
Here at Cressa Candles, we've been listening to those whispers of possibility — and letting them guide our hands in new directions. The wick is lit, and the wax is warm… come see what’s unfolding.
🕯️ What's New at Cressa
This month, we’re layering more than just intention — we’re layering wax. We’ve just received a brand new pillar candle mold, and we’re experimenting with layered pillar candles that blend color and scent in beautiful, unexpected ways. Each layer will tell part of a story, a scent-tale captured in wax and flame.
We also quietly moved our website and e-commerce shop to a new platform. The address is still the same — www.cressacandles.com — but the space feels a little more like home now. Sleeker, smoother, and ready for your next visit.
And though it's just a whisper now, we’ve begun dreaming up our next collection: Gods Among Us. The early sketches and scent ideas feel powerful, ancient, and divine. More on that in the months to come.
A Monthly Column by Ashwyn, Candle Keeper of Cressa
Featured Scent: Wolves Embrace
Teal in hue • Forest Pine • Jasmine • Sandalwood
There are scents that stir the soul—and Wolves Embrace is one of them.
Close your eyes. Picture the edge of an ancient forest, moonlight spilling like silver ink across the pine-needle floor. The air is crisp with silence, except for the soft padding of paws and the whisper of wind. That’s where this candle lives—between stillness and story.
With the grounding aroma of forest pine, the ethereal sweetness of jasmine, and the sacred depth of sandalwood, Wolves Embrace carries the wisdom of the wild. It’s a reminder that your power is quiet, steady, and deeply rooted. This flame is for those who walk between worlds—those who lead with intuition and guard their inner wild.
Ashwyn’s Candle Care Wisdom:
Before your first burn, always trim the wick to ¼ inch. It’s not just practical—it’s ceremonial. A trimmed wick offers a brighter, cleaner flame, prolongs the life of your candle, and sets the tone for every burn to follow. Treat it like a soft spell of intention.
Scent Magic Insight:
Sandalwood, ancient and revered, is believed to open channels to higher wisdom. Light this candle during meditation, divination, or journaling. Let the fragrance guide your spirit through the forest within.
Until the next flicker,
– Ashwyn

Tarot Reading: What You Need to Know to Confront the Coming Weeks
Card One: The Moon
There is mist ahead, soft and strange. The Moon emerges first to remind you that not all things are meant to be seen clearly—at least not right away. In the weeks to come, you may feel the pull of old patterns, inner fears, or confusing emotions. Pay attention to your dreams, both literal and waking. The Moon doesn’t ask for control, only presence. Can you sit with uncertainty without rushing to define it? This card whispers of intuition, of the wisdom that lives below logic. Trust your inner tides, even if the shore feels distant.
Card Two: Nine of Wands
You’ve come far—wounded, yes, but not defeated. The Nine of Wands is the guardian who stands at the threshold, marked by past battles but still upright. This card asks: what are you protecting, and is it still worth guarding? You might feel tired, tested, or on edge this month, especially if you’re confronting long-standing emotional territory. But you have more resilience than you realize. Let your boundaries be conscious, not reactive. Rest if needed. You don’t have to fight everything that stirs your defenses.
Card Three: The Empress (Reversed)
When the Empress appears reversed, she often points to a disconnect from your own nourishment. Have you been giving from an empty well? Are you tending to others but neglecting your own fertile ground? This reversal is a call back to self—back to body, to stillness, to pleasure without guilt. Creativity may feel blocked or stifled, but the soil is not barren. It simply needs warmth. Reclaim softness. Let yourself receive.
A Closing Thought:
This spread hums with shadow. Not in a threatening way—but in the sense that the weeks ahead may illuminate what's been hidden, pushed aside, or long misunderstood. There is a quiet strength in meeting your own depths without flinching. Let yourself slow down. Stay curious. Remember: healing rarely looks like clarity at first. Often, it begins with confusion, then courage, then grace.
I'll see you on the other side of the veil.
